Lower Macungie Community Days

The dog park was once again featured at Lower Macungie Community Days held on 3 May.  Many residents stopped by and voiced their support for the dog park.

Yappy Hour - 19 October 2015

Thanks to all who attended our Yappy Hour at 1760 Pub 'n Grille on Monday, 19 October.  Thank you to the proprietors for generously donating 10% of food purchases to the dog park. Thanks to all patrons who made donations.  Stay tuned for future events.

Pet Paint Party - 7 October 2015

Friends of Lower Macungie Dog Park held its second paint party at Paint on Main in Emmaus.  This event was also a complete sell-out and with 100% of the proceeds donated to the Dog Park.  A big thanks to Paint on Main for their continued support!  Here are a couple of photos from the event:

Pet Paint Party - 21 August 2015

Friends of Lower Macungie Dog Park held its first fundraising event at Paint on Main in Emmaus - a pet painting party.  Attended by 21 budding artists, this fun event raised over $400 in support of the dog park.  The event was a sellout with another one planned in October.  Here are a couple of photos from the event:

Information about the Dog Park was on display at the Lower Macungie Community Day held on 5 May 2015.  Parks and Recreation Board Members Julie McDonnell and Marti Schwartz, along with Dog Park Community Lead, Roger Williams greeted visitors and talked about plans to bring a Dog Park to Lower Macungie Township at Camp Olympic.  Several hundred adults and children visited the booth and more than 55 people took time to sign our Community Support Form requesting grant money from the State of Pennsylvania to help defray the costs to build the dog park.
